UBTA and the Export Promotion Office of Ukraine are joining efforts to support Ukrainian exporters
On Thursday, June 11, UBTA and the Export Promotion Office of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The document envisages the consolidation of efforts aimed at the development and promotion of Ukrainian exports and providing favorable conditions for the practical training of Ukrainian business representatives to enter foreign markets.
The decision on joining efforts on export promotion and cooperation on a regular basis was made after the successful launch and implementation of the first joint initiative, a series of educational events Expert Talks, aimed at helping Ukrainian businesses learn about current trends and changes in EU-Ukraine trade and political relations.
From now on, the Ukrainian business will be able to receive even more support, in particular in forming a positive image of Ukrainian suppliers of goods and services and finding foreign business partners.
According to the Memorandum, UBTA and the Export Promotion Office of Ukraine will jointly organize and support the following activities:
- Measures to promote the export of good and services of Ukrainian producers in the European and other priority foreign markets;
- National and international public communication activities aimed at spreading a positive image of Ukraine as a reliable trading partner in European and other priority foreign markets;
- Facilitating the establishment and development of business relationships with foreign partners.
Also, since UBTA has its own office in Brussels, the Ukrainian business community will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to permanently and consistently represent their interests in the EU institutions.
